A LENS FOR SKATEBOARDING — Designed by Skaters

In a move that surprisingly hasn’t happened until now, a camera lens has been specifically designed for filming skateboarding. The guys behind the Boys of Summer video have teamed up with Century Optics to create a retooled MKII Fisheye specifically designed to fit the Panasonic HPX170 and HMC150. When zoomed to 12X, the lens gives a balance of vignette and barrel distortion similar to the classic VX1000 look on Panasonic HD cameras. The lens is available now in limited quantities through the @vx1000market Instagram account.
