Some studies have stated that the quality of today's wartime recruits into the U.S. military has been degraded since the invasions of Afghanistan and Iraq. The assumption is that no one wants to enlist because they don't want to get killed. It's also said that as a result of this the government has been subsequently forced to lower its standards. True or not, fortunately, the Berrics has suffered no such epidemic. We need not coerce nor cajole anyone into joining us. Our enlistees are the upper 10% of the upper 10% of the skateboarding population and are here under their own free will. Theotis Beasley was 12 when we first met him. He is now just a few months past 17. He's from California. Born and bred and he's the first Recruit in the new Berrics.
