Drop Of Doom — Empire Games #2

Last year we saw The Empire Games and Converse bring us the “Wall Of Death.” The contest consisted of lining up a giant quarterpipe with over 20-feet of vert markings for a wild contest of who can ride the highest. Phil Dulude took home the first place prize of $1,000 for clearing the 15ft marker. Scope the Wall Of Death video recap here! Well, The Empire Games are back, this time adding another contest to their event. The Drop Of Doom is as simple as it sounds: The highest drop in wins. The 10-ft ramp will be raised up and up until only one victor is crowned the drop in champion. The contest is scheduled to be held on August 27th, from 1pm-5pm behind Le Taz skatepark in Montreal, Canada. We’re looking forward to the Drop Of Doom, to say the least. Stay tuned!
