DC SHOES: EVAN SMITH’S “LIGHT.SOUND.BRAIN” — Part 2: Sound
Evan Smith is one of the most creative skaters there is. Part 2 of DC Shoes’ ”Light.Sound.Brain” follows Evan to his hometown of Pittsburgh, PA and looks into his creative influences outside of skateboarding. He grew up in a culturally rich environment surrounded by music and art. He could have chosen to be a painter or guitar player, but Evan’s medium of choice is skateboarding. All of the things that surrounded Evan as he developed as a person shine through when he’s on his board. This piece gives greater insight into who Evan is and why he skates the way he does.
