A heavy crew of misfits, the Santa Cruz Skateboards team is made up of history, legacy, and honor—wearing the red dot on their backs for 40 years running. Skating everything in their path, never knowing when they’d be back, and gettin’ some while they could, saying Santa Cruz left their mark in Australia is an understatement. In the midst of bombing the outback countryside and watching native wildlife—clocking miles and untold hours—the realization hits that sometimes skateboarding doesn’t involve skateboarding. 13,000 kilometers from home, you understand that you’re sharing the same passion with the OZ locals we’ve all had since childhood—skateboarding. Safe to say, it’s here to stay.
