First Day Of Fall
September 22, 2016
Today is the first day of fall (or “the day after the last day of summer”). September 22 marks the “autumnal equinox” and, as a result, the sun sets earlier. It can get dark at like 4 P.M. (which kinda doesn’t make sense), so we don our reflective jackets and we attach headlights to the noses of our decks. Well, some of us do. Here’s a fascinating fact for you: it’s called “fall” because leaves fall to the ground. Skaters don’t subscribe to society’s seasonal “rules.” We fall all year round.
