"SKATEBOARDING IS HOT!"

When I was younger I would have been really excited to see this photograph because it would have meant that skateboarding was being acknowledged as a real thing. Nowadays, I look at this photograph and wonder if it means we've arrived or if we're almost dead. For every person, company or magazine you think is ruining skateboarding, there are about twenty more, who've never even stepped on a skateboard, working five times as hard.
