GERSHON MOSLEY GIVES AN EPIC INTERVIEW ON ‘THE NINE CLUB’

The Nine Club, now with 111 weekly interviews in the can (and wide selection of “Experience” eps), has pretty much mastered the art of the interview. After two years, Chris Roberts and Roger Bagley have fine-tuned their operation, keeping (mostly) all of the chats in a reasonable 60-90 minute range hitting all the bullet points in a skater’s career.

But there are exceptions: Tony Hawk, Chris Cole, Christian Hosoi, Jason Dill. And now, Gershon Mosley—a man who was universally respected and then disappeared from the industry. Most people don’t really know all the details, and connect the dots with whatever ancient info is available (Mosley was in Tilt Mode videos, so he must be from San Jose… right?).

Mosley lays it all out in this episode, discussing growing up in Compton, getting on Santa Cruz, riding for Human Skateboards, the reason he left Powell, getting on the A-Team then going to Blind, filming for the Transworld video The Reason (wait a minute, another Reason alumnus, and San Josean, Cairo Foster was interviewed last week), Globe Footwear, why he left the skate industry, working on his own project The oBtuseconcept, and much more.
