IN THE LOUPE — Mike Blabac On Danny Way

Photographers and jewelers use loupes to get a better look at extremely fine details. In our “In The Loupe” series, photographers share the finer details about some of their jewels with us. Mike Blabac’s 2003 photo of Danny Way’s gargantuan, mega noseblunt slide was featured as the cover of the first issue of The Skateboard Mag. The sheer scale of this trick was unheard of at the time, and the location Danny chose left no room for error.
