RIPPED LACES: C1RCA COMBAT WIDOW REVIEW BY JEREMY LUGO

If you've been lurking around Ripped Laces you'll know that most of our reviews consist of a detailed explanation behind the shoes performance and a slide show of the weeks of skating it's been though. After some careful consideration and strategic planning, we realized we had to step it up. There's only so much you can see with the photos and written reviews. We'll still do the ol' fashion reviews that got us recognition, but we'll continue to grow with our video format. This is our first video review and we're debuting it on The Berrics. Fuck Yes!

The difference between this video and every other skate video online is that we show you the shoes before and after all the footage. At first we put the left foot in front of the camera to show you how purty the C1RCA Widow is, but then show you the right side at the end. My good friend and tester, Alex Figueroa, couldn't wait to shred the Widow; but keep in mind it was our first day of testing so the right foot looked exactly like the left foot.

Here are some pertinent details: Alex is goofy foot and he tested the Widow on and off video for a total of 3 weeks. The Widow held up extremely well and surpassed our expectations of a durable vulcanized shoe. The Widow is a standard vulcanized shoe; it features a large toe box that sits directly on the ollie area and can handle whatever you've got in store. The toe box is double stitched and threaded with a thick rounded canvas on the edges to protect the suede from any abrasion. After that, the suede has to stand on it's own, but C1RCA wrapped this model with a high action suede for heavy durability. One of the most honorable mentions is C1RCA's FUSION GRIP outsole. It's been tested before on Ripped Laces and has earned our respect.
