“1031 was founded in 2006 by Kristian Svitak and good friend Mike Beer (Beer City). It is owned 100% by us with no help from outside investors. Blah, blah, blah! The idea was to create a company where we could offer skateboarders the highest quality skateboards. We also wanted to be able to have a team and do things on our own terms, not having to answer to anyone else. Blah, blah, blah!”
