WHY UPRISE IS INTEGRAL TO CHICAGO’S SKATE SCENE

Skate shops are a fundamental part of every skate scene. Unfortunately, mom and pop stores across the country have been closing one-by-one over the past decade. This phenomenon makes the ones that remain even that much more important. Uprise is one of those shops. The first episode of REAL’s new Out of Sight documentary series sheds some light on why Uprise is such an integral part of skateboarding in Chicago.
