THE KING OF QUEENS — Rodney Torres on Empowering Youth
Rodney Torres has been a part of the skate scene on the East Coast and beyond for over two decades. The Queens, New York, native was Pro for brands like Zoo York and the defunct Arcade. In 2012, Torres founded TORRO! Skateboards with the mission of helping New York’s next generation of skaters gain exposure in order to get noticed by bigger brands, eventually launching a career in skateboarding. Rodney continues to host events, judge contests, and do many other things that are integral to skateboarding in New York.
