HOW CHAD TIM TIM BECAME NEW BALANCE NUMERIC’S TEAM MANAGER
Chad Tim Tim breaks down his new role as New Balance Numeric’s team manager during the latest episode of The Nine Club. He took on the responsibility in January, and is enjoying the transition into life behind the scenes. But don’t worry, Chad is still focussed on professional skateboarding as well. He also mentions that he’s currently filming for New Balance’s next project and the upcoming Element video simultaneously. Tim Tim gives the play-by-play on how the TM role came to be and what it’s been like thus far at the 1:23:20 mark.
A year into it [skating for New Balance], they were like, “Are you interested in helping out on a couple of trips? Will you takes some ams to Tampa Am and Damn Am?” I was like, “Yeah, sure, I’ll try it out.” And they were like, “Well, how about a permanent one [job]?” So I started that this year, in January. I really enjoy helping. I didn’t think I would. But mentoring the guys coming up and being with the whole team [is cool]. Everyone is so fun to be around. Every trip is organized and fun.
