CULTURE LIMITED — UXA x Ari Marcopoulos x Ryan Hickey

UXA was founded in New York City by skateboarder and designer Peter Huynh. You may be familiar with projects its done in the past with Zered Bassett and Eli Reed. For its latest offering, UXA is paying homage to its roots by teaming up with Ryan Hickey and Ari Marcopoulos. Hickey was an integral part of the New York skate scene in the ‘90s. And Marcopoulos was one of the first photographers to document New York skating in that era. For this new release, UXA chose to utilize a classic shot of Ryan skating the Brooklyn Banks as well as a portrait both shot by Marcopoulos on a new deck and tee. It also teamed up with RB Umali on a short documentary about the project.
