VANS HUNTINGTON BEACH SKATEPARK - Grand Opening This past Saturday, the Mayor of Huntington Beach cut the ribbon on an important monument to the local culture: The Vans Huntington Beach Skatepark. The massive 40,000 square-foot park has a lot of cool features - including a clover bowl, a street plaza with all the fixins, and a Jack's Garage skate shop on site. But the standout that really cemented Huntington Beach's role in the development of exceptional skateboarding over the years was the "SoCal Sole of Fame" induction ceremony (recognizing the contributions of Christian Hosoi, Ed Templeton, and Tosh Townend). By honoring these three HB skate titans, Vans highlighted the profound influence that Huntington has had on the skate world over the years. VANS HUNTINGTON BEACH SKATEPARK - Grand Opening
