In 2003 Danny Way straight up redefined what was possible on a skateboard. His part in “The DC Video” opened up an entirely new style of skating with the birth of the Mega Ramp. While every other part leading up to this one was revolutionary in its own right, this was the one that launched him into a whole other stratosphere of gnarliness. He achieved new distances and heights in skateboarding… literally. Besides earning the unofficial title of gnarliest skater alive, he broke 2 official world records with this part: “longest distance jump” and “highest air”—in the same run no less!!!
