Pursuing what you’re truly passionate about is not always the easiest career path, especially when your passion is skateboarding. It’s physically demanding. There’s not a ton of money involved. And, compared to other career paths, you have a relatively short shelf life.
Walker Ryan knows this as well as anybody. Despite having a college degree from UC San Diego, he chose to take the road less travel and pursue professional skateboarding.
