15 Years Later: Filming Lakai’s Groundbreaking ‘Fully Flared’ Intro

Lakai‘s Fully Flared full-length was explosive when it debuted. Literally and figuratively. And it was groundbreaking, too. (Also literally.) Today, Crailtap marked the 15th anniversary of the filming of the video’s classic Hollywood action movie-style big-budget intro with a rarely seen edit of some behind-the-scenes nuggets. Check it out, above, featuring our co-founder Eric ‘What’s a squib?’ Koston.

The Crailtap riders have been working with The Berrics since before a single clip was filmed in our teeny, tiny Myers St private warehouse. (Ty Evans put together an awesome ‘Skate Fairy’ episode devoted to the LA sanctuary in 2006.)
