ADIDAS X HARDIES HARDWARE COLLECTION — Video Featuring Tyshawn Jones and Go Hard Boyz
adidas Skateboarding partners with Hardies Hardware to unveil a limited edition apparel and footwear collection. Founded by adidas Skateboarding Pro team riders Tyshawn Jones and Na-Kel Smith, Hardies Hardware is a newly minted hardware and accessories line that has gained widespread recognition throughout the skate industry. The limited edition Hardies capsule collection offers a new spin on adidas’ classic silhouettes and was designed to salute and express unity, friendship, community, and crew solidarity.
Featuring a stylized aesthetic, the Hardies video follows Tyshawn Jones and his friends, the Go Hard Boyz – New York City’s infamous dirt bike crew – stunt riding through the streets of the Bronx where Tyshawn grew up.
The Matchcourt x Hardies shoe features a premium, oiled nubuck with a bold embroidery on the tongue. Following design and direction cues from Tyshawn Jones and Hardies Hardware’s signature branding, adidas Skateboarding redesigned the look and construction of the Matchcourt shoe to reflect the collection’s emphasis on unity.
The limited edition Hardies collection also includes a Hardies Crewneck that features subtle three stripes highlights and a Hardies chest embroidery that gives this blended fleece crewneck a unique, yet classic look. The Hardies Unconstructed 6-Panel Hat is a cotton twill snapback mirroring the embroidery details on the Matchcourt. A classic track pant, the Hardies Pants was redesigned to embody the look and vibe of the Hardies crew. The Hardies Tee features the adidas accent in front and an enlarged Hardies logo in the back.
The limited edition Hardies apparel and footwear collection will be available at specialty adidas retailers in the U.S. and the adidas Skateboarding website starting February 3.
