Alec Majerus Interviewed On The Nine Club

This week’s episode of The Nine Club puts Alec Majerus in the hot seat. Chris Roberts and co. talk with him about growing up in Rochester, Minnesota; skating 3rd Lair Skatepark during the freezing Minnesota winters; winning Tampa Am (in 2012); getting on Volcom; what it’s like to skate with Louie Lopez; getting on Flip; moving to California; leaving Vans to ride for Adidas; getting a staph infection and needing emergency surgery on his leg; and filming his latest part. (This episode is one hour and forty-nine minutes long.)

Majerus has been working on literally DOZENS of projects with The Berrics over the past eight eight years, ever since he made a guest appearance in Lopez’s Recruit in 2011—when they were both just little Flippers. We remember when Majerus filmed the ender for his own Recruit in 2014, the whole office crew went up to the balcony to see it go down (it still stands as one of the most stunning tricks to happen here).
