BATB CLASSIC MOMENT — Koston’s BATB 7 Comeback
BATB 7’s Third Place Battle seemed like a done deal on Finals Night, with Sewa sitting comfortably in the catbird seat while Koston trailed. But this catbird seat became a canary in the coalmine real quick: Koston reached deep into his decades of skateboarding and unearthed some rarely seen early ’90s tricks, guessing that the devilish pressure scoop would be too counterintuitive for Sewa’s picture-perfect flick. He guessed right.
