BEHIND THE SOUNDTRACK OF ETNIES’ ‘ALBUM’
Etnies’ Album reimagines the accepted norm of soundtracking a full-length. Made up largely of specially composed music, the video features a notably skate-centric line-up of artists—Mike Watt, Mario Rubalcaba, Leo Romero, Paulo Diaz, and more, collaborated with Mike Manzoori on the score that has completely shifted the tired standard of licensing music for skate videos. We hung out with Director of Music, Noel Paris, at his Bionic Ear studio to see history in the making.
