What you’re about to see isn’t even possible. It makes no sense. There is no logic behind it whatsoever. There is no influence of fashion, style, trend or hype of skateboarding here. Tommy Carroll doesn’t see what we see because he can’t, but what he lacks in sight he makes up for in vision. I haven’t seen anything this thought-provoking, this profound, in a very long time. I would say that Tommy Carroll is probably the purest skateboarder on earth as he only knows that thing which is pure about skateboarding, the way it makes you feel. Keep thinking. Keep pushing things into the future. The world is changing and people are doing things I never thought they could 10 years ago. – sb
