BRIAN BLAKELY BENEFIT SHOW ON FEBRUARY 2ND

Brian Blakely, a longtime Berrics homie from back in the Skateboard Mag days, lost his right arm in an ATV accident a few weeks ago. In the crash, his ATV flipped several times and crushed his arm on impact. The accident occurred at Ocotillo Wells in California (he was airlifted to Escondido and then to San Diego). Due to the extreme injuries he sustained and the distance to travel his doctors had no option but to amputate.
This was sad news for us here at The Berrics. Even though Blakely had moved on to work at Transworld after his tenure here as TSM Digital Content Manager, we have always considered him to be Berrics fam. If you’re inclined to pitch in for Blakely’s hospital bills, there’s a GoFundMe page where you can donate.
On February 1, Transworld will be throwing a benefit show (featuring DJ Jimmy Astleford) at The Cowshed in San Marcos. There’s a $10 entry fee, with raffles and prizes, and ALL proceeds will benefit Blakely’s recovery.
