Last week, Louie Barletta and enjoi surprised Cairo Foster with a retirement party at the old American Apparel factory in Downtown LA. Foster, adidas Skateboarding’s Global Social Media Manager, thought he was viewing the space for an adidas event—but he got more than he bargained for (plus cake). You can see some of the highlights from the evening, which included a Foster-specific round of Useless Wooden Knowledge, Andreas Trolf‘s long-running skate trivia series.
Foster has participated in dozens of Berrics projects over the years. He first appeared in enjoi’s United Nations in 2008; his exuberant personality rubbed off on everybody during filming and it still holds up today as one of our most rewatchable, fun edits. Fun fact: Foster has also appeared in more Berrics United Nations videos than any other skater (we think?), clocking clips for enjoi, RVCA, and Etnies.
