BERRICS ARTIST OF THE WEEK: CARA CORDER
Milwaukee, Wisconsin native and recent LA transplant, Cara Corder, is an artist’s artist. No medium or subject matter is off limits and she excels at all of it. Cara received her bachelor’s degree in fine arts from the Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design with a major in printmaking and has had work shown in over 35 shows in the past ten years. But more importantly, she makes things for the love and pure enjoyment of creating. You’d be hard-pressed to find her without a pen and a sketchbook in tow—she always needs to be doodling portraits of her friends, a stupid pun, or a joke she heard.
