‘The Nine Club’ interviewed Chany Jeanguenin for the latest episode, discussing his time growing up in Switzerland, and skating in Swiss Cup contests; getting on Real distributor flow, coming to San Francisco without knowing that vert had effectively died in the early ’90s, then focusing on street skating since no vert ramps were around; getting on Planet Earth and Rhythm Skateboards; filming for Transworld’s Modus Operandi; Expedition Skateboards; skating for Converse, and the helium shoe; dealing with knee issues due to ACL surgery, studying martial arts; and eventually moving back Switzerland and working at a local skate camp.
