WHY CHRIS COLE BACK 360 OLLIED THE LOVE GAP TWICE

Chris Cole is the latest to be featured in Chris Nieratko’s “Skater in Cars” X Games segment. While the spots they visit are all in Los Angeles, Cole’s best story is from Philadelphia’s Love Park. His back 360 down the Love gap in Fallen’s Ride The Sky [2008] will go down in history as one of the most memorable tricks done there. For most people, once would be enough. But Chris actually did it twice. He breaks down why at the 5:10 mark.

I did have to film it twice. We had one filmer with one camera. So we filmed it fisheye. And I thought, “Oh, fisheye would be absolutely badass, right?” So we sent the footage in to Chief. And he’s like, “Amazing, where’s the long lens?” And I’m like, “No, we didn’t have a long lens.” He’s like, “No, you didn’t [film it long lens]?!” So I put on the same exact outfit and went back the next Sunday and filmed it long lens.
