Christian Hosoi‘s rocket air is one of the most well-known tricks (particularly for skaters of a certain age), and one that most ramp rats won’t even “step” to. Tomorrow, the classic move will meet crypto as Hosoi introduces the rocket air NFT as part of a special event at Elliot Sloan’s ‘Sloanyard’ megapark. “Rocket Air 316” is a genesis NFT drop, celebrating his prolific career and personal story, as well as skateboarding history and the creative culture within it. These NFTs feature old-school photos from Jamie Mosberg that have been styled in the fashion of skate media circa 1980s. Each NFT holder receives access to a once-in-a-lifetime Mega Park skate competition experience with Christian himself and a hand-signed limited edition board with artwork by Hosoi’s father, Ivan Hosoi.
