Christopher Hiett Joins Fallen Footwear Team

Fallen Footwear announced today that Christopher Hiett, the Powell-Peralta am whose style spans all eras of skating, is the latest rider to rise with the brand. Here’s what Fallen had to say about the move:

“We originally met Christopher through his local shop/park, Killer Skate Park, in Evansville, Indiana. The guys at Killer hit us up, saying, you got to flow one of our riders; he rips and loves Fallen, so naturally, we started hooking him up. About a year later and lots of weekends killing it with everyone, naturally, it all made sense. This is one of those dream scenarios from shop flow to getting officially on the team, and we are so stoked it worked out that way!”

Fallen relaunched in 2019, bringing back several riders who were on the original team in the Ride The Sky era. (It’s important to note that original head honcho Jamie Thomas is not involved with the reboot, as he made abundantly clear when he got his Fallen tattoo removed last year.) Cole’s return, in particular, was like a bulletproof seal of approval. We interviewed him and everyone involved in Fallen’s relaunch back in 2019, and he shared a bunch of interesting tidbits about the early days—he used to drive his car over a new pair of Fallens to break them in—making it clear that the brand has held a special place in its riders’ hearts after all this time.
