‘Cosmopolitan’ Interviews Nyjah Huston About Upcoming Documentary

Nyjah Huston has a documentary coming out next year, and according to his recent interview with Cosmopolitan mag it will basically cover his whole damn life (including his Olympics debut next year). Huston is among the many Olympic athletes who were looking forward to competing in the 2020 Tokyo Games (which have been postponed until next summer… fingers crossed), and his doc will have a whole other layer to it now because of the COVID-19 pandemic that has swept the globe and upended society.

In the interview, Cosmo mag asks Huston about his filming routine now that he isn’t immediately training for the Olympics: “Going into this year it was the total opposite mindset. It was like, ‘All right, I’m gonna be staying super safe and healthy and in contest mode, getting ready for the Olympics’… it completely switched around to like, ‘All right, I don’t wanna sit around and do nothing this year.’ He also hints at TWO new parts in the works for later this year.

(We have a few pairs of Huston’s latest Nike SB model, the ‘Nyjah Free 2,’ in stock now in The Canteen.)

Huston has been working with The Berrics for years (we remember when he cut his dreads like it was yesterday), with a tally of over 100 video projects on the site. He’s easily the most consistently prolific pro—check out a small representation of his deep Berrics history below:
