COWTOWN PHXAM 2019 HITS SUNNY PHOENIX ON SATURDAY
The last week of March is always an exciting one for up-and-coming ams, as vanloads of skaters arrive in Phoenix, Arizona, for the PHXAM contest at Desert West Skateboard Plaza. This year’s contest takes place on March 23rd-24th. On Saturday the 23rd, two hundred skaters will compete for the 18th PHXAM title; the top 40 spots will get them into the Semifinals and Finals, which will take place on Sunday, the 24th, $20,000 is up for grabs.Pre-sale tickets can be purchased at cowtownskateboards.com in addition to any Cowtown location for $5 per day starting February 1st. Math would lead us to understand that it only costs $10 for an entire weekend of insanity and some of the best skateboarding in the world, so save that allowance. As always, the first 500 people in line each morning will get a free gift bag full of PHXAM products, an event T-shirt, as well as raffle tickets to win boards, shoes, clothes and even a year’s supply of Vans shoes.Even Method Man and Redman are performing!
