DGK’S STEVIE WILLIAMS SHOWS YOU HOW TO BUILD SKATEBOARDS FROM SCRATCH

DGK‘s Stevie Williams, a legend when it comes to making something out of nothing, shows you how a skateboard is made—from the bottom up—in today’s video by the brand. Williams visits BBS Manufacturing in San Marcos, California, the factory that has been making DGK’s boards for over 2o years, and learns about the process, ply-by-ply. This is a pretty detailed video, and definitely worth a watch if you want to see one of the all-time greatest entrances in history, courtesy of Williams (who doesn’t speak Spanish).

In 2015, for Black History Month, we invited Williams to speak his mind about overcoming adversity in life. It was one of the most important videos we’ve ever produced, reminding skaters that we’re essentially all one in the same—regardless of skin color or background.
