EVAN SMITH MAKES HIS GRIMPLE STIX DEBUT WITH PAIR OF TRIPPY VIDEOS

Evan Smith left Element at the beginning of this month, following the departures of former teammates Tyson Peterson and Mason Silva. Within days it was clear where he would end up: The writing was on the wall, and it said “Grimple Stix.” Antihero‘s “guest company” is officially releasing Smith’s pro boards with a pair of videos, “Alien Rock Candy” and “Cosmic Earth Dirt,” that could have been named either by a ’60s flower child rock band or a ’90s turntablist crew.

This is a fairly unprecedented experiment for an established board company (Antihero is now in its third decade). We’re excited to see how it plays out… When it comes to Evan Smith, we’re all just existing in his orbit.
