‘The Fader’ Profiles Turnstile, a Skateboarding Maryland Hardcore Band
In the latest FADER x WAV presents “Frequencies” mini-doc, The Fader ride with Maryland hardcore band Turnstile as they skate (turn-style), explore the woods, and hang out on rooftops in between kinetic performances. The six-piece band is built on kinship—“everyone is just friends first and foremost,” frontman Brendan Yates says—which helps a group that’s been on tour almost constantly since the release of 2018’s Time & Space.
It should also be noted that this profile features a cameo by the dudes behind Carpet Company, Ayman and Osama Abdeldayem, who have been homies with the band’s members for years.
