FINNISH LINES: FREE SKATE MAG PREMIERES OLLI LILJA’S PART IN ‘DAA’
It seems like every day we’re learning about a new skater who we should’ve known about a long time ago. Today. the skater is Olli Lilja—a Finnish powerhouse with style to spare. Lilja’s part in Happy Hour Skateboards’ DAA premiered at Free Skate Mag this morning and it’s so good that we had to share it. The level of finesse in each clip is just off the chart (Lilja holds a back 180 fakie 5-O for an extra beat before popping it back frontside 180—so unnecessary when most people just bonk that shit).
But when you’re name is “Olli” you’ve got to bring the heat. Lilja also had a bunch of clips in Jaro Serlas and Mikko Björk’s Hard Water video. Watch it below:
