Franky Villani is now pro. Some would say he’s “finally” pro, and some would be right. (Congrats!) Primitive chose to make the announcement with this incredible edit (by Kevin Perez) to the tune of “Always On My Mind” by The Pet Shop Boys, a group that ranks right up there with Elton John on the list of “Woefully Underused Artists In Skate Videos.”

In the past, Villani has spoken about his affinity for Louie Barletta and the vibe of his video parts. With “Always On My Mind,” he has nailed that unique mix of quirky NBDs, personality, and electro dance pop that make Barletta’s parts so enjoyable.

It’s safe to say that you’ll be surprised by most of the clips here—3rd & Army just got the Bennett grind to end all Bennett grinds. The always unique Villani is doing his own thing and we love it.
