The shock of Villani’s current free agent status (the clues to his next move are out there, if you dig deep enough) is matched only by his unbelievable opening part in New Balance Numeric’s video, Tricolor, that aired on the site in August. One needs to only spend roughly three hours watching the immense catalog of Villani footage on his Youtube channel—and others—to fully appreciate that he is a renaissance man unlike anything we’ve seen before. Inventive and purely instinctive, Villani is the rare dude who skates from the gut.
