GAVIN BOTTGER LEAVES POWELL-PERALTA

Gavin “lighting in a bottle” Bottger posted a shocking bit of team change news last night on his Instagram: bye-bye Powell-Peralta; hello public domain. With nearly 5 years on the Powell squad, Bottger felt that he’s officially outgrown the legendary brand. If his Insta caption is any indication, Bottger is quite classy for his age:

“As of today I have officially decided to move on and leave Powell-Peralta skateboards. Huge THANK YOU to @devillenunes @micaiahjanbo and the entire @powellperalta family for all the support and opportunities over the past 4 1/2 years. It’s been one heck of a ride!”

We started working with Gavo when he was 10 (seems like ages ago). Check out a couple of his projects with The Berrics, below:
