In April, Geoff Rowley was the guest on a very entertaining 3-hour episode of The Nine Club. Of the many topics the guys covered (including designing his first Vans shoe and his famous Staples Center hubba 50-50) the Liverpudlian madman touched on the concept of confidence. How Rowley approaches intimidating tricks and spots is very revealing; his skating philosophy has an element of zen wisdom that can easily translate to everyday life:

“You have to be okay with passing… preparation is everything!”
