GIRL’S ‘MOUSE’ IS NOW AVAILABLE ON CRAILTAP’S YOUTUBE CHANNEL

The days of suffering through subpar uploads of Girl’s phenomenal back catalog may be over. A couple of days ago, Crailtap made the company’s second full-length, Mouse [1996], available for all to enjoy. The video, directed by Spike Jonze and apparently conceived as an homage to Art Spiegel’s Das Maus (it’ll probably be another 22 years until we understand this particular tribute), pioneered a style of video editing that has been imitated, duplicated, and appreciated for decades.

In March, we reported on Crailtap’s Vimeo archive, and the the official free vod release of Chocolate’s western epic, Las Nueve Vidas De Paco[1995], and Girl’s inaugural outing, Goldfish[1993]. Both are high quality versions; both are rewatchable and significant skate time capsules. (Yeah Right! is also available on Crailtap’s Vimeo, fyi.)

Keep the hits coming, Crailtap! It reminds us of how ahead of the curve y’all have been from the get-go.
