The New York Times just published a series of Grant Brittain’s photos. This is the third article that the world’s most prestigious newspaper has featured on skateboarding in a matter of weeks. It would seem that, as a culture, we have arrived. From our connection to current fashion and music, to inclusion in the 2020 Olympic Games, skateboarding is more influential than it’s ever been. The New York Times paying homage to Grant’s iconic photography is yet another reminder of that. It’s amazing how far we’ve come, and will be interesting to see where we go in the future.
