Grant Taylor learned to skate in Georgia, and the latest edition of the Nike SB Zoom Blazer Low pays tribute the state. The shoe has an interactive colorway—the more you skate it the more the swoosh rubs off, revealing a pinkish bruise—which recalls the stone fruit that Georgia is commonly associated with. And the suede is even a little bit fuzzy!
GT’s fondness for GA is apparent in this video as he tackles every spot with his typical intensity. Here’s what he says about the design of the new Blazer: ”The ‘Bruised Peach’ is spot on. It’s got an even better look once worn and torn, beat up and bruised.”
