After eight seasons of Vans’ "Loveletters To Skateboarding," Jeff Grosso has tackled every major topic, historical moment, and embarrassing fad in skateboarding’s history. A cavalcade of influential homies have joined him for the journey—a sort of Best Week Ever for skate historians—but long-form interviews are a rarity for the series. Grosso flips the script with today’s episode as he chews the fat with, Tony Hawk, the man who needs no introduction—inside or outside of skateboarding.
We’re loving this direction for “Loveletters.” Grosso will probably never run out of topics to dissect for future episodes, but if the well does somehow run dry we’d love to see him embrace the interview format. Keep it up!
