Instant x New Balance Numeric Drop Collaborative Edit
Since 1995, Instant Skateshop has stood as a significant landmark within the community of greater Tokyo. Conceived by Akio Homma and a passionate collective of skateboarders in Urayasu, it’s mission was to introduce the thrill of skateboarding to the locals. Now with over half a dozen locations, Instant Skateshop is not only a beacon of influence but a catalyst for collaboration and empowerment. With this expansive footprint, the shop continually engages in collaborations that uplift and enrich skate scenes throughout the nation. For their latest collaborative edit, Instant teams up with New Balance Numeric on “Land and Sea” that premiered on VHS Mag. The shared part focuses on two Tokyo rippers Kento Takahashi and Chris Matayoshi with a string of guest clips from other members of the crew. With it’s laid back style, paired with unique spot selection, “Land and Sea” is a breath of fresh air from Japan. Watch the full edit, filmed and edited by Moke Life, above!
