International Olympic Committee Debuts ‘By Her Rules’ Series
Today, International Olympic Committee debuted By Her Rules, a video series highlighting five young female athletes who are defying the perception of what a woman is supposed to be doing in her society, her sport, or her community. All episodes are produced and directed by women, and Women’s Battle At The Berrics finalist Margie Didal shares some pretty inspiring wisdom in her episode. (She first got turned on to skating when she was selling street food with her mom back in the day.) Didal is one of the top skaters in Asia, and is paving the way for LGBTQ+ athletes and women in skateboarding. Watch her episode at the IOC site.
