Hopps has officially souled out. Daptone Records, the soul label partially responsible for some of your favorite skate videos’ soundtracks, is currently collaborating with Jahmal Williams’s soul-forward brand. The partnership makes total sense, so Daptone co-founder Bosco Mann (aka Gabe Roth) invited Williams and Theories of Atlantis’ Josh Stewart to the label’s Brooklyn headquarters to show him where the magic happens—and has been happening for the past 20 years.
