Many of you may know the high-flying Wooten as the Tasmanian Devil-esque teen camper who shadowed Mike Vallely in the 2013 season of Camp Woodward. Check out one his memorable episodes of show below, in which Vallely mentors Wooten and gives him the direction he needs to one day turn pro—hey that’s today!
“You’re awesome. I’ve seen you really rip this place up, but I’ve also seen you get really frustrated and upset… You gotta take that aggression, take that angst, those ‘bad’ feelings and put it into your skating. You have something special in your skating and just as a person. So go with the good stuff! It’s gonna get you as far as you wanna go in your skating.” Mike, you were right.
