Jimmy Lannon Channels His Inner-Bruce Lee In ‘Flow Like Water’

Magenta‘s Jimmy Lannon is known for his fluid style, and this quality is celebrated in Busted.Mic Creations‘ “Flow Like Water.” The title is taken from a philosophical Bruce Lee quote:

“Be Water, My Friend.
Empty your mind.
Be formless, shapeless, like water.
You put water into a cup, it becomes the cup.
You put water into a bottle, it becomes the bottle.
You put it into a teapot, it becomes the teapot.
Now water can flow or it can crash.
Be water, my friend.”

When it comes to elements, fire is usually the one skaters lean toward. But water is probably the best representation of the (usually) graceful movements in skateboarding. Not to mention that when we slam it’s referred to as “eating shit,” and water flushes shit… maybe we’ve taken the analogy too far.

The video is a collaboration with Magenta Skateboards (there’s also a Jimmy Lannon x Busted Mic pro model board available at Theoriesofatlantis.com or your local shop. This video was filmed and edited by Stephen Buggica for Busted.Mic Creations, and the thumbnail photo was shot by Josh Bowser.

Daewon Song and Phil Zwijsen took different approaches to obeying their thirsts with their wet edits for The Berrics. Enter the deluge:
